I am married to Lorelle and have two wonderful boys, Michael and Daniel. I iam thankful for my parents Abel and Evelyn Ebens and the many blessings they have given me.

I served as a minister of the Adventist church over a period of 14 years. I am a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.

    I completely understand the churches actions and do not hold any bitterness towards the church for what has transpired. I continue to pray for my brothers in leadership and their families. I have always tried to follow the Bible instruction to not rebuke an Elder and respect their position as a leader in God's church. I pray that I have been faithful in my efforts.

Eph 4:6  One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.

 

 

“Cumbered with humanity, Christ could not be in every place personally; therefore it was altogether for their advantage that He should leave them, go to His father, and send the Holy Spirit to be His successor on earth. The Holy Spirit is Himself divested of the personality of humanity and independent thereof. He would represent Himself as present in all places by His Holy Spirit, as the Omnipresent.” 14 MR 23.

 

You ask what we teach about the Trinity. Inasmuch as we find no such expression in the Scriptures, we do not teach anything about it. But as to the Being of God,-the Godhead,-Divinity as revealed in the Father, the Word (the Son), and the Holy Spirit, we believe and teach just what the Bible says, and nothing else. No man can by searching find out God. No creature can understand the Almighty to perfection. The finite mind cannot comprehend infinity. Therefore, in discussions about the Trinity, about the nature of God, Christ, and the Holy Spirit, are manifestations of gross presumption. E.J Waggoner Present Truth Feb 6 1902

1931 Godhead Statement

2. That the Godhead, or Trinity, consists of the Eternal Father, a personal, spiritual Being, omnipotent, omnipresent, omniscient, infinite in wisdom, and love; the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of the Eternal
Father, through whom all things were created and through whom the salvation of the redeemed hosts will be accomplished; the Holy Spirit, the third person of the Godhead, the great regenerating power in
the work of redemption. Matt. 28:19.

Note: this is not a triune trinitarian statement. God is the eternal Father possessing the three omni's. Jesus is the Son of the Eternal Father through whom all things were created and the Spirit is the great regenerating power in the third person. The use of the word Trinity here is not Trinitarian It is not three in one.  This statement still holds the Father and Son relationship. Adding the word trinity just causes confusion, but apart from that I would happily accept this statement. I was baptised into this statement in 1979, the year before the Co-eternal Trinity was voted in.
